All of us here at GEE hope you are enjoying your summer. We are. We've been busy with projects, left right and centre. Here are some of the happenings you might be interested in. Oh, and while you're at it, be sure to watch for the editorial on GEE's EK3 Salt Remediation technology in the July/August issue of Canadian Environmental Protection.

EK3 Electrokinetic Remediation Presentations Tour
With the overwhelming response to the EK3 Electrokinetic Remediation Presentation Tour, we are now booking presentations into August. The first two commercial EK3 projects are currently being set up in Prud'Homme, Saskatchewan and Medicine Hat, Alberta and our third large-scale project is scheduled to start in September in Leduc, Alberta. If you would like to hear more about these projects (and their electrifying results) please contact us at gee@groundeffects.org or call Calvin Prokop at (306) 352-1400 to set up your own personal EK3 presentation. For more information on the GEE EK3 Electrokinetic Remediation System, please go to the Technical Info section of our website.
GEE is a lean, mean manufacturer
With our company standard being a 99.9% runtime on all of our products, quality is something GEE takes very seriously...but as always, we are driven to go farther. Lean Manufacturing is a management philosophy pioneered largely by Toyota to reduce waste in the manufacturing process. GEE implemented the lean philosophy in 2003. Since then, we've increased our manufacturing capacity while simultaneously increasing our product quality. Now more than ever, we are able to exceed all expectations. (By the way, you know that laser-cutting-our-name-into-everything habit we have? That's not part of being lean, that's just for fun.) For more information on how Lean Manufacturing has improved GEE's manufacturing processes, call Blain at (306) 352 1400 or email us at gee@groundeffects.org.
Newest member of our arsenal
To help our crew of seasoned directional drilling and trenching professionals, we have added a new member to the squad - the Ditch Witch XT 1600. The XT 1600 excavator is powered by a liquid cooled, direct injection, 4 cylinder Kubota V2003-M-DI-TE2B diesel engine. This baby can trench, dig, jack hammer, grade, disc, saw, lift, rake, auger and plow, just to name a few. It not only enhances the scope of our remediation installations, but it also puts a pretty big smile on our field crew's faces to boot. If you want more information on GEE's full service horizontal drilling, trenching, installation and maintenance of all remediation equipment, call Calvin Prokop at (306) 352 1400 or e-mail us at gee@groundeffects.org.
Thank you for visiting us at GO EXPO
GEE would like to thank everyone who stopped by our exhibit at GO EXPO in Calgary from June 12 - 14. The show was a huge success for GEE, with hundreds of new contacts made with both visitors to the show and fellow exhibitors. If you missed GO EXPO, you can catch us again at the Remediation Technologies Symposium 2007 (RemTechTM 2007) from October 24 - 26 in Banff, Alberta. For more information, visit http://www.esaa-events.com/remtech/default.htm. See you there.
